Everyone in life has at one point or another made choices that resulted in less than favorable outcomes. That ranges from hurting loved ones, losing relationships, decisions that affect our various occupational and educational journeys. We as conscious human beings develop what is known as “Regret”.
Noun 1. a feeling of sadness, repentance, or disappointment over something that has happened or been done.
Regret if not dealt with can lead to “Resentment”.

But how do I deal with it...
Make amends with yourself
- Acknowledge your mistake
o One of the first steps to healing and recovering from addictions and offenses is admit that there is/was a problem.
- Get to the root
o Find out what led you to make the choice that you made and where the ultimate downfall was. I have the right to decide how I EXPERIENCE life…
- Eleanor Roosevelt once said “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”. This statement lets us know that we can choose how we mentally process things without letting those around us hold it over our heads.
- Daily Affirmations often come in handy. The more you repeat a thing, the more you’ll eventually catch on and believe it.
o I will not allow myself to live in yesterday.
o I did the best I could with what I knew.
o Seeds of resentment have no place in my field of peace.
o I accept my life’s journey and I’ve learned from it.
o I will not self-sabotage when I can experience truth and joy.
o I release pain, anger, embarrassment, and insecurity from my being.
o All I need is one day at time.
o It’s okay to mess up but even better to recover.
o Other’s perceptions of me will not define who I am nor, my possibilities.
o Good Energy begets good energy and stifles those who wish to oppose.
